How we charge families

At Pathways, our fees reflect far more than a “per-lesson” rate. When you join us, you’re investing in exceptional teachers, a proven curriculum, beautifully equipped spaces, and a full range of opportunities that simply aren’t available in most music schools.

We hire the best because great teaching transforms learning — and our students progress faster, grow more confident, and stay connected to music for longer. We know we’re not the cheapest option, but our focus is quality, care, and consistency, delivered by a team who live and breathe this work every day.

Your fees allow each student the full Pathways experience: personalised lessons, masterclasses, concerts, community programs, performance opportunities, original resources, and a warm environment where every student feels seen, supported, and inspired.

Private Lesson Fees

Your weekly one-to-one lesson, delivered during term time with a specialised educator in our leafy Flagstaff Hill studio. Each term’s fee includes access to our Term 1 and Term 3 concerts (with no ticket costs), all masterclasses, band opportunities, choirs, our premium Master the Piano curriculum and so much more — everything your child needs to learn, grow, and thrive musically.

Duo Lesson Fees

Your weekly two-to-one lesson, delivered during term time with a specialised educator in our leafy Flagstaff Hill studio. Each term’s fee includes access to our Term 1 and Term 3 concerts (with no ticket costs), all masterclasses, band opportunities, choir rehearsals, and our premium Master the Piano curriculum — everything your child needs to learn, grow, and thrive.

* For those starting lessons part-way through a term, a pro-rata invoice will be issued.

**There are no refunds for invoices already paid for students who have changed their mind about continuing lessons.
